OK, over the past four weeks I have been sharing with you my strategies to make 2013 a banner business year for me using 4 different Business Resolutions to fine tune my businesses and make them all more successful.
Last week I told you about my plan to cut back on the number of active blogs that I will have. The week before that I told you about Resolution #2, setting up an Affiliate Program. The previous week, I told you about my plan to write a minimum of 20 new e-books in 2013.
Now it’s time to let you in on my Resolution #4 for 2013, my last of my 2013 Business Resolutions. For the blogs that I keep active, I will focus on stepping up my activity on them. I will post more frequently, and make any other changes to improve the quality of those 5 or 6 sites that I will focus on.
Because of the fact that I am cutting back on some of my sites, that will free up some time to put quality time in on the sites that I feel have the most potential to earn money and attract a bigger audience. It will give me more time to write and to research the topics that I will write about.
One of the sites that I will focus on, Live in the Philippines, is already very successful, and I want to push it up to the next level. I feel that even though this site already earns a great income, there is room for a lot more, and I am going to do what I can to do that. It’s not all about money, though, I want to provide the very best reading experience, the best of information, and an overall super relationship with the readers of the site. What I know is that by implementing these things on the site, it will cause the earnings on the site to skyrocket. This site, Ways to Make a Living, is about making money, so that is what I concentrate on here on this site. So, I don’t want you to think that I am only focused on making money, that is not it at all, it is just that this particular site is focused on that topic, so that is what I write about here.
Now, the other sites that I have decided to focus in on our sites that I feel have earning potential. All of the sites are already earning money, but in my opinion, the amounts they are earning are minuscule, and I want to change that.
The fact is, the more often you post, if it is good content that people want to read, the more money you will make on your site. I can look at my Google earnings, and see that on the days that I post on my blogs, or within the posting day and one additional day, those are the times that I earn the most money from the sites. It is only natural, the days when you post a new article, those are the days when people come to visit the site, so of course, that is when you earn the money!
So, I’m looking forward to seeing how my new Business Resolutions work out in 2013 for me! Maybe you can try my strategies too and see how they work for you!

I find myself getting spread even thinner this year, heh. I think the important step in posting more is keeping the same quality your readers have come to expect. You have to up the post count without sacrificing quality…that’s the key, eh?

Hi Bob,
As always your articles are interesting to me and I take time to read all of them. One of your sites that was not mentioned by name, was Mindanao Magazine. That was the first site of yours I found and it had all the links to your other sites. I had Googleed Ozamis looking for info about the area I was intending to move to, and an article came up that peeked my interest. If my memory is correct it was called “Is Ozamis Safe” It was just the kind of info I was looking for about my intended destination. I also looked at the other regional Mags you have as well and what I liked is that they carried Info and news about specific areas in the RP. To me those are very valuable to the foreigner looking to Move here and I hope to see you expand them! You have the travel experience here in the RP to give much insight to those of us that do not. Furthermore You have a base of readers that live in various cities and regions, And have lived there for some time, That can contribute to those blogs. Things like hotels and restaurants that are good , transportation, Shopping areas and what can be found for an expats needs in that area. I hope you wont abandon these Blogs, but instead expand them and and promote them More! I look forward to reading all of your blogs and reading what everyone, Including (Paul T) has to say

Hi Joe, or I mean Hey Joe! How’s it going? I haven’t heard from you for a little while, hope you are doing well.
Don’t worry, I have no intention of shutting down my Mindanao Magazine. Mindanao, the place, is dear to me. In fact, I have plans to revamp the site a bit and improve it. That may be 4 to 6 months down the road, though!

I hope to be of some help to you from here in Qzamis with places to eat. places to find things that expats are used to having but are difficult to find ant events in the area.
I have been busy this month trying to get a passport for my wife and the documents I need to get a 13a visa. Also trying to get 1099s for taxes in thee USA. But I still read every post I see on your sights so you have not lost a reader!

No problem, Joe! Good luck on your projects that you are working on, I hope they get completed faster than you expect!

Absolutely, you cannot just post anything, it has to be well reasoned, and quality writing. That is a key!
