I finally finished
My office is ready to be revealed
In May 2020 my wife and I bought a house in Logansport, Indiana. The house is vintage, built in 1910. Many of the rooms were badly in need of renovation, due to the age of the house. For our first project, we renovated my office.
I have been working from home for the past 30 years, and I wanted to have the office that I dreamed of. I have never had a really first-class home office, and I figured it was time, after working at home for so long!
Our house sits adjacent to the Eel River, and my office has a wonderful view of the river. There is a lot of wildlife that comes and hangs out in the yard. I wanted to be able to sit at my desk and view the wildlife and the river while working. My wife, Feyma, is employed outside the house, but she enjoys hanging out in the office when she is not at work. So, we made this a two-person office. We enjoy hanging out together when we are both home, so this is really perfect for us.
Have a look at my video office reveal!
It took a while to complete our project. There were plenty of delays related to the COVID pandemic. I am so happy to be finished and really enjoying the new office. I hardly want to even leave my office now!
I hope you enjoy the video! Subscribe to my YouTube Channel if you enjoy content about working from home, and how you can do that!

Thank you, Kate! I’m glad that you like it. Come to Indiana for a visit! I’m sure you’ll love it. Might want to wait for Spring, though… it’s getting cold here. 🙂

Very nice Bob, glad that moving back to the USA has worked out so well for you and the family.

Thank you! Yes, life has been good for us here, just like it was in the Philippines. We are enjoying it here.

Hi Bob,
Great job. If you want a great book that will help in refurbishing old houses look at “The Old House Journal Compendium”. My late wife and I used it on a couple of old houses we lived in.

Hi Tony, thanks for the tip. I have some books similar to what you describe, but I’ll check that one out too!
